Tajweed Miscellany

As intended, here are some random tajweed notes on makhaarij, sifaat etc.

First of all, I found this interesting chart on tajweed showing quite a few rules. Click on the pic to open it in a new window and then expand it to see it in all its glory.

I was told makhaarij and sifaat make up half of tajweed so here’s a couple of diagrams to help. Makhaarij are essential to making sure the sound comes from the right point, and to consequently have the right qualities (sifaat).
